Red Shutter Inn

Once called Best Funky Small Ski Accommodation by Ski Canada magazine, the Red Shutter Inn is close to the lifts at Red Mountain and has been home to some of the most eclectic, interesting, and hard-skiing guests for over 30 years. The building is neither new nor luxurious, but the beds are new and comfy (same as the Sheraton's) and the woodstove and company is warm.  The Red Shutter feels more like a club than a hotel, and many of our guests return year after year. The large outdoor hottub and sauna, as well as family-style shared breakfast and social lounge with woodstove, TV/VCR/DVD, games room, and wax room makes it easy to relax, meet new friends or bond with old ones, and truly enjoy the Red Shutter/Red Mountain experience.

The ideal set-up for teams! Take over the entire 6-room lodge - each room has a comfortable queen and double bed, so you can fit 12 people comfortably, plus up to 4 more next door in the 2 bedroom cabin. Large
kitchen table for shared meals and meetings, and plenty of gear storage space in the front room. Book the whole lodge (10-12 people) for 3 nights or more between 10 Apr and 10 Dec, and you pay hostel rates of just $25/person/night! * plus 5% GST, 10% hotel tax, and $20/hour kitchen cleaning fee. Hot tub
and sauna may or may not be operating outside the ski season. Catered breakfasts and dinners available by arrangement.
