Butler Park

Just across the Columbia River from downtown Trail, Butler Park is part of a greater two square block sporting complex that is also home to the Trail Aquatic and Leisure center and Butler Park tennis facility.

Butler Park is the premium baseball facility in the south-east interior of BC. The 1,000 seat covered grandstand and up to 3,000 additional bleacher seats surrounding the natural grass field create an electric atmosphere to play in or watch one of the many championship teams that have called the facility home over the years. Home to Jason Bay, the 2004 National League Rookie of the year, current member of the Boston Red Sox and star of Canada's World Baseball Classic team Trail has a deep love for baseball and a history that runs deep.   In 2011 a new scorebaord was also installed.

The field is fully lit for televised games and has hosted big time baseball events such as the 1995 Senior Babe Ruth World Series and has been selected to host the 2011 Western Canadian Senior Baseball Championships.

With full sized team change rooms, press box and media rooms Butler Park plays like a miniature sized major league facility. Home to the 2008 BC Men's Senior Championship team the Trail Orioles as well as the Trail Jays of the American Legion League Butler Park regularly draws large crowds from the very knowledgeable fan base.
